training: week 9

aug. 4th; i was in o'ahu, hawai'i for week 9. they run the honolulu marathon in dec., i don't know how people can run in that heat and humidity. it was pretty oppressive, kayla and i were sweating just standing around or touring around town. i thought i was going to do some maintinance runs, after long days of being a tourist i was so exhausted i couldn't get myself to go running. i really wanted to and had a great place to run. i promise i'll be better about doing my runs next time. as you can see i did get to enjoy my time in waikiki. aloha!

so, this week i'll like to take the time to thank everyone that have donated thus far. thank you all very much for helping me get to my half-way goal, without you're love, support and belief in me i would still be at ground zero, thank you.

i'm going into week 10 and about to run 14 miles it touches me to know that there are so many of you that are coming along this journey with me. it's been really amazing how much everyone has been willing to give and i just wanted to say mahalo again.
